About the Artist
Raised in Burlington County, New Jersey, I was surrounded by creativity from the very beginning. My mother nurtured my artistic instincts, but the deepest roots of my talent trace back to my father, Grissom Fugett, and a powerful lineage of artistry that runs through his side of the family. That legacy is not just history to me, it is something I feel in every piece I create.
At 17, I stepped into the U.S. Army with determination and strength, serving until my honorable discharge in 2007. That same resilience still defines me today, shaping my journey as both a devoted mother of two and an artist who pours everything into her work.
The name Unchain'd Artistry was born from my belief that art should never be confined. It represents breaking free from expectations, limitations, and perfection, allowing creativity to exist in its most raw and honest form. For me, creating is an act of release, a way to unchain emotion, experience, and truth and give them a voice.
That philosophy lives at the heart of everything I create. Through Unchain'd Artistry, I bring that freedom to life across traditional paintings, expressive sketches, intricate wood engravings, and digital designs ranging from custom logos and banners to full website experiences. Every piece I make is driven by raw emotion and honest imperfection, designed to resonate deeply and form real, lasting connections.
Artist Statement
Art, for me, is a form of presence. It is where concept, emotion, and design come together to create something that speaks beyond language.
My practice spans both traditional and digital mediums, allowing me to move fluidly between fine art painting, hand sketching, digitalillustration, and graphic design. Each approach informs the other and what I learn in one area often reshapes how I create in another.
At the core of my work is a commitment to using raw emotion as a driving force behind creativity, balanced with intentional structure and design. I am drawn to the space where instinct meets refinement where feeling is translated into form with clarity and purpose.
In my graphic design work, I focus on composition, communication, and visual harmony. In my fine art and illustration, I allow more freedom for texture, movement, and expressive interpretation. Across all mediums, my goal remains consistent to create work that is honest, thoughtful, and visually compelling
